Are you newly diagnosed with HIV or living with HIV searching for access to medical care in the Upstate? AID Upstate is dedicated to providing care to all clients living with HIV. Your health is important to us. Our dedicated Medical team and Case Management staff are here to help get you established in medical care and on antiretroviral treatment. Because we also understand the many challenges that could make it difficult for you to access care, our Case Management services also works with you to ensure you have resources for support. This includes housing, food pantry, transportation for medical visits, mental health, and substance abuse support.

Our experienced, non-judgmental, and knowledgeable HIV Prevention staff will help you to select realistic options for reducing your risk for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). We also offer additional STI screenings based on your personal risks and needs.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) weakens a person’s immune system. The virus can be contracted through unprotected sex, needle sharing, birth, breastfeeding, and blood transfusions. HIV is transmitted through Blood, Semen, Vaginal Secretions, and Breastmilk. Any person that has engaged in any of these risks with someone living with the virus could be exposed. This means that HIV does not discriminate based on a person’s health, marital status, or income.
